Roztocze Beekeepers Association has a specialist laboratory equipped with appliances necessary for performing chemical tests.

All the examinations are conducted in accordance with PN-88/A-77626:1988 Bee Honey and determine the evaluation of honey quality, the ordinance MRiRW (Dz. U. z 2003r. Nr 181, poz. 1773) and the act (Dz. U. z 2001r. Nr 5 poz. 44).
  Laboratory researches include:

-    examination of bee samples, provided to the industrial plant by beekeepers,

-    assessment of the quality of honey (just offer its delivery) and its worth (price),

-    supervision over decrystallization process of honey and its thorought evaluation after the process,

-     current control over pouring of honey - control of the cleanliness containers, control of the correct filling up process, labeling and storing in accordance with requirement PN-88/A-77626.

 RBA co-operates with the members of national research and scientific institution. It also actively participates in seminaries and attempts over the changes of regulations concerning the quality of Polish honey, bearing in mind the future integration of the Polish food industry with the European Union's food industry. We have been cooperating with Institut für Honig-Analytik in Bremen for years.
