Comb foundation (honeycomb) - a thin sheet of pressed beewax with impressed on both sides bottoms of cells which measure about 5,2-5,7 mm. Sheets of comb foundation framed in wooden construction of beehive is the beginning of a bee plaster.
Honeycomb is produced in accordance with PN-R-78894 from 100% bee wax I class (PN-72/R-78890 and N
r wet. 06188404).

All kinds of comb foundation are made from bee wax on a German machine made by Herzog.
 
The production of comb foundation is controlled by National Veterinary Research Institute in Pulawy (Department of Parasitology with Laboratory of Honey Bee Diseases PIWet-PIB).

 

We recommend especially before you start working with our honeycomb heating to a temperature of 20-25°C. Reaching to keep the sheets (for about 24 hours) at room temperature with the given above. The treatment is intended to plastic sheets snakes and making it more susceptible to treatment.
